Hope Rising: Stories of Trauma and Healing is airing now on ABC affiliates around the United States. The documentary explores the trauma in DR Congo and the Scripture-engaged trauma recovery program produced by the American Bible Society and delivered by the Bible Society of DRC. GTRI faculty are co-chairs of an Advisory Council which provides clinical oversight of the program content. About half way through the documentary, GTRI faculty and students can be seen discussing urban trauma here in Philadelphia. Check out the trailer below and then check your local listings here.
